Matthew Neff

Matthew Lorne Neff, 60, of Moline passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2021, at Trinity Hospital in Rock Island, IL. Matt was born on April 14th, 1960 in Rock Island, IL to Phyllis and Roy Neff. Matt attended Moline High School and was last employed at the Rock Island Arsenal. Matt was known for his quick wit, laughter, appreciation for Rock and Roll music and love for his family. Matt was blessed in life with two sons: Christopher (Melissa) Neff and Cory (Kari) Neff and three grandchildren: Aurora, Parker and Piper, who he loved dearly. Matt siblings include Nancy Faust, Roy Neff Jr, Maggie (Dan) Horton, and Jeff Neff. He had many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends Wayne Carlson and Junior Reeves. A Celebration of life will be held in the spring. A memorial has been established at Service Plus Credit Union in Moline.
