Jerry L. Reasor

Jerry L. Reasor, age 71 passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones March 8, 2025 at his home after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Memorial services are being held 3:00-7:00PM March 15, 2025 at the Rock Island Conservation Club.

Jerry was born October 1, 1953 to Herschel and Bonnie (Bedwell) Reasor. He graduated from Moline High School. Jerry married the love of his life, Rose, on December 31, 1990. She passed away December 1, 2021. He played in 3 bands, Fireside, Movin On, and Sweet Dreams. Jerry finally retired in 2024 after 30 years at Anchor Lumber, where he worked on small engines. He enjoyed camping, car shows with the Quad City Cruisers and the Bi State VW Club, from which he won multiple trophies. He also loved being the Coolest Grandpa there ever was.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children Erica (Art) Thornton, Amanda (Glenn) Martensen, Autumn Downey, Jody (Lance) Reasor, Jessica Reasor, and Paul (Savana) Martensen, grandchildren Taylor, Dakota, Miracle, Lucas, Hollis, Brinley, Dillon, Natalie, Tobias, Lauren, Laura, Jack, Noah, Mackenzie, Ethan, Sparrow and Karissa; great grandchildren Jaedon and Sawyer.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister Cathy Daniel, and brother Mark Reasor.
