Gary Olson

Gary L. Olson, 64, of Rock Island passed away October 10, 2019 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.

Per his wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services. Quad Cities Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements.

Gary was born January 3, 1955 in Madelia, Minnesota the son of Gunnar and Goldie Pederson Olson. Gary received his Bachelor’s Degree from Iowa State University. He was most recently employed by Get n Go Convenience Stores, Inc. as store manager. He was employed for many years prior in restaurant management in the QC area.

Survivors include his sisters Denise (Dean) Carothers of Colona, Illinois and Minka (Mark) Hull of San Diego, California; brother Steven Olson of Angeles, Philippines; special friend James Sprouse of Rock Island, Illinois and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
