Arnold Niswander

Arnold B. Niswander, 60 of Cordova passed away Dec. 22, 2017 at his home.

Arnie was born May 20, 1957 in Iowa City, IA the son of Alvin and Shirley Cloud Niswander. He married Denise Lehna August 12, 2017 in Cordova. Arnie was an Auto Technician in the Iowa City and Davenport areas. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and working on hot rods. He especially loved spending time with his family and blowing up fireworks.

Survivors include his mother Shirley (Don) Sobczak; children Crystal (Justin), Kelsi (Mike) and Tony (Susan); children of the home Nathan and Emily; step children Stephanie, Andria, April and Matthew; 15 grandchildren; siblings Andy (Marlene)Niswander, Alan (Barb) Niswander and Selina (Marty) Roth; sister in law Donna and several nieces and nephews.

Arnie was preceded in death by his father.

A memorial will be held May 20, 2018. Memorials may be made to the Arnie Niswander Cancer Benefit at The Family Credit Union 1400 W. Rockingham Road, Davenport, IA 52802. Quad Cities Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
